A COLD Morning In Ohio…Let’s Do This!

Snow is falling. The temperature reads 9 degrees. It is a COLD morning here in Ohio.

In less than 2 hours, I’ll be picking up my company’s Chief Marketing Officer from her hotel.

She’ll be joining me today for two hours of knocking doors.

Bring on the cold AND the pressure…I’m still gonna rock it. ;)

Let’s GO!!

  1. How did your door knocking go with the added pressure of the CMO? Does a cold day make it easier for people to welcome you into their homes to listen to you?

  2. It was great! I enjoyed her company and ended up pulling two sales. To answer your second question, yes. It was rare for me to ever be invited into people’s homes until just before Christmas when the temperature began dropping into the 20′s and low 30′s. Now it happens all the time. However, my overall rate of doors knocked to sales has not changed. It seems that those who are interested end up buying regardless.
